Perhaps I will meet Eric Northman...

So I arrived in Lafayette, Louisiana today... home of the Ragin' Cajuns!  This means that tomorrow will start the first day of my two month adventure in the town of Rayne, Louisiana... pop 8,000 and known as the "Frog Capitol of the World." Awesomeness.

Just a little recap of the last few months of my life for my family and friends who have no idea where I have been... well yes, I get confused too.  So here's the run-down:
August- Pensacola, FL working at Sacred Heart Hospital
September- Largo, FL working at Largo Medical Center
October- 2 weeks at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL and 2 weeks at Broward General in Fort Lauderdale.
Basically, I have been doing audition rotations for places I may be interested in doing a residency in Internal Medicine, and no I have not made any ranking decisions as of yet, but I figure I will have a ridiculous amount of time to think about it in the next two months.

So, why keep a blog?  I figured this could be a very interesting experience and the possibilities are endless on the types of people I may come in contact with.  I mean just tonight, I went to Taco Bell for dinner, yes delicious and nutritious, and the lady who took my order just had her face painted in black and white in no seemingly purposeful manner, which confused me.  I asked her what she was supposed to be and she said, "Vampire."  Last I checked, vampires had fangs and not a black and white stripped face and taco bell employee ensemble... Perhaps she truly WAS an actual vampire... Anyways a weirdo none-the-less, I just hope she didn't get face paint in my quesadilla.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
